Birth in the United States and much of the world is flawed. The problem, though, is not with the birthing women, but those who are there to care for them. The medical industry has turned the whole sacred event into a medical emergency where women and babies are needlessly abused and families are not allowed to bond when a new child is born. It is hard to have a clear goal for this portion of my website because there are two things I really want to accomplish here. The first is to empower women by showing them how capable they are of gently and safely birthing their babies even without a birth professional involved. My second desire is to expose the lies of the medical profession that are hurting women and babies for the sole convenience, liability and profit of the "care provider."

It is difficult to step away from what we have always known to be true. We all know that doctors "do no harm" and that women go to the hospital to have babies. We have all heard about how many women and babies used to die in childbirth until the medical profession got involved, but we have not heard the whole story. I invite you to visit with me here for a while and read the whole story. If you may give birth some day or you care about a woman who may give birth someday, you should read the information here and pass it along. It may save a lot more than you realize.
